Established in 1897, Nino Negri is one of the top-notch estates producing wine in the Valtellina DOCG. Named after the 15th-century “Castello Quadrio di Chiuro”, this castle sits about many underground cellars which are home to thousands of barrels of wine. Through commitment to their terroir, Nino Negri single-handedly elevated Valtellina to the world stage!
Valtellina is a top designation like Barolo or Barbaresco – without the price points! Nebbiolo (called “Chiavennasca in this region), has been produced in this region since Roman times. What it lacks in name-recognition it makes up for in incredible value!
