Cooper Mountain Reserve Pinot Noir

Medium bodied and crowd-pleasing, with flavors of blackberry, raspberry, and earth—classic Willamette Valley.

When Cooper Mountain Vineyards got its start in 1978, there were just a handful of winemakers in the Willamette Valley. Much has changed and growth has been exponential in Oregon’s wine producing regions, yet owners, the Gross Family's love for the land and producing lovely wine hasn’t wavered one bit. “The Meadowlark Vineyard Pinot was my favorite Pinot from all of Oregon and began my love affair with Cooper Mountain,” says Kelsey McCallan. The ‘Reserve’ is a wine, which possesses all of the attention to detail and quality found in the winery’s single vineyard offerings, yet at a fraction of the cost and with an earlier window of drinkability. Highlighting its balanced character and ability to stand up to the acidity of cranberry sauce, the savor of roast turkey, and even suitable for full flavored seafood, Kelsey notes, “We will begin featuring this wine by the glass at Catalyst on November 1st.” Stop by for a glass to find out for yourself!
