D'Angelo Sacravite

Inky, powerful plum and black cherry fruit has edges of rosemary, dried leaves, and a hint of something floral—perhaps dried roses or lavender. A strong, mineral backbone that expresses like wet stone or tar runs right through the middle of the palate, thanks to those volcanic soils. Bold but well integrated tannins lend approachability to the wine. This is great red pairing for burgers, but it’s a classic with hearty Italian pastas or roasted vegetables.
