Made from a 50/50 blend of Tannat and Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine is an approachable, fruit-forward style of Madiran! Cabernet Sauvignon reaches full ripeness here in the warm Madiran, and provides most of the fruit notes, while Tannat lends structured, tannins and fresh acidity. A subtle bouquet of blackberry and red fruits on the nose leads into notes of cassis and a hint of chocolate on the palate. The Rustic tannins and a full-body make this wine a great pairing with many meat dishes! Softened by 10 months in cement vats!
