A Bigger Table

This purchase feeds 10 people in partnership with Lovin' Spoonfuls, a Boston-based charity for the hungry. They “rescue” food that would otherwise be wasted, and they distribute it to over 35,000 of our neighbors in need each week! There’s always room for one more at our table.

DELIVERIES BEGIN NOVEMBER 8TH
Thanksgiving Dinner wines curated by Improper Bostonian's Best Sommelier of 2018—yes please!

Kelsey McCallan is the vibrant, dynamic Sommelier and Senior Restaurant Manager at Cambridge's Catalyst Restaurant. This month, Kelsey puts her personal spin on Thanksgiving with a blend of family traditions, a recent traveling experience and personal taste.

This month’s picks are perfectly paired for Thanksgiving dinner—a textured white that’s ideal for appetizers, two lovely food-friendly reds for turkey and traditional sides, and a semi-sweet moscato that is exactly what you need with pumpkin or apple pie.

THE WINES

  • Raptor Ridge Pinot Gris: Medium-bodied with flavors of pear, lemon pith and fresh acidity. Perfect with aperitif, salads, goat cheese, stuffing, potatoes, and turkey.

  • Domaine de Colette 'Charme' Morgon: An approachable, soul-satisfying red built for versatility at the table and fun in the glass. Goes great with poultry, charcuterie, and cheese.

  • Cooper Mountain Reserve Pinot Noir: A crowd pleaser, with flavors of blackberry and raspberry. We suggest pairing this classic Willamette with duck, salmon, turkey, lamb, and all things bbq.

  • Quady 'Electra' Moscato: Floral, soft, and slightly effervescent, this medium-bodied moscato is the perfect wine for pumpkin or apple pie, and other traditional Thanksgiving desserts.
