Step into the chic and breezy atmosphere of Café Sauvage and you’re immediately transported. Greenery everywhere, cozy booths to settle into, and a menu that has us continuously drooling. Brunch, lunch, dinner, and fabulous French immersion dinners to parle français avec tes amis chaque mois (reservations mandatory!). Antoine and his wife Anaïs bring a slice of Paris to Mass Ave. with incredible style.
In an effort to create an inclusive environment where people of every background could feel at home, they came up with the idea and opened in October of 2021 and they have been busy every since (especially since they just welcomed a new baby into their family!). This month Antoine took some time away from being a new dad and picked out four bottles that are a fun snapshot of his wine list. We hope you enjoy them, and get yourselves over to Café Sauvage asap!
T H E W I N E S
Cave de Bissey, Crémant de Bourgogne Brut- Light & refreshing. Wispy and clean with just enough toast. This is a bubble for everybody.
Domaine des Grands Rocs, Beaujolais Blanc- Light & zippy. Lean, mouthwatering Chardonnay that pairs with everything, and way too easy to drink.
Jean Maurice Raffault, Les Galuches Chinon - Medium bodied & wild. Earthy and herbaceous with wonderful aromatics. Violets and red currants all over the place.
Domaine du Prince, L’Envol Malbec - Full bodied & supple. Juicy, full bodied Malbec that won't tank your palate. We love how silky it is!
