CURATED BY JULIA BAILEY
GENERAL MANAGER & WINE DIRECTOR OF BUTTONWOOD

*DELIVERIES BEGIN MAY 8TH*

It makes perfect sense that Buttonwood’s Wine Director and General Manager, Julia Buttonwood, started her work in the arts. After studying theatre in college she found herself at a few office jobs that she found "really boring." After she had enough, she took a position as a server at Sycamore and found that the world of food and wine had more to offer. She was drawn to the historical and cultural connections she was able to make between the wine she loved, where it came from, and who was making it.

During the restaurant’s 10-month hiatus, Julia made the best of an unfortunate situation by traveling. She took advantage of the opportunity to deepen her knowledge of wine. Now, the affinity she has for Iberian wines is showing her guests at Buttonwood how to leave their comfort zones and delve into this unlikely region.
