Ending The Year At Home

Thank You For Being Part Of The Upper Glass Family

Curated by Aaron Mehta, Owner The Wine Press & Upper Glass

Deliveries begin December 16th

Our very special guest curator this month is none other than the Unexpected Wine Guy. This December we have four wines for you that are 100% Aaron wines. Nebbiolo from Alto Piemonte, Tempranillo from one of Aaron's favorite importers, a silky Côtes du Rhône, and of course a bottle that Jyoti will actually share with him, Arneis from Roero. For us, these four styles have long been staples in the Wine Press collection, and this month Aaron's going to explain why.

T H E   W I N E S
  • Negro Lorenzo, Roero Arneis - MI-NER-AL-I-TY. Say it with us. It is elegant and truly delicious. Anjou pear, apricots, notes of white tea, and something that reminds us of pasta water. We love it.
  • Carlone, Conicà Rosso -Light and grippy. This berry-filled Nebbiolo has a bloody core and we bloody love it. Piedmont forever.
  • Luberri, Seis Rioja - Dusty, concentrated, but filled with juicy minerality. This is one of those reds that everyone loves, we hope you do too!
  • Ferraton Pere & Fils, Côtes-du-Rhône - Smooth, cozy, and perfect for winter. This full bodied blend of Syrah and Grenache is way too good.
