CURATED BY JESSE ESLIN
WINE DIRECTOR OF THE TABLE AT SEASONS TO TASTE

*DELIVERIES BEGIN APRIL 8TH*

If Long Island native Jesse Eslin is any indicator of where the wine industry is headed, get excited. Say goodbye to stressing about looking knowledgeable in front of a date or pompous sommelier. At The Table at Seasons to Taste in Cambridge, Jesse puts guests at ease with his inviting demeanor and refreshingly fun attitude about wine. He throws convention out the window when it comes to pairing wines with Carl Dooley’s four-course prix fixe menu.

No matter how far we go or how much we learn, there’s something to be said for going back to the basics. It’s not unusual to hear Michelin-starred chefs say that their last meal would be as simple as their mother’s grilled cheese or a perfectly fried egg. Jesse’s perspective isn’t all that different.

At The Table at Seasons to Taste, he comes up with brilliant pairings night after night to go along with the ever-changing menu. And having worked in some of Cambridge’s best restaurants, he’s gotten the chance to open some of the finest Grand Crus and celebrated vintages. But his favorite way to drink wine is to find something new, usually under $20, order some takeout and hang out with friends. No overthinking, no frills. Just a bottle that’s meant to make the everyday moments a little better. And when it comes down to it, isn’t that the reason we drink wine?
