In Brief
Light Body, Subtle Earth
Bright Acidity, Tart Red Fruit
A fresh styled red burgundy meant to be drunk young. Vibrant raspberries, bing cherries, and plum. Wonderfully aromatic with hints of black pepper and crushed summer flowers. Medium-boded with well-balanced acidity and a granite minerality. The star of your dinner party or a crush-able patio pounder with friends!
The Giraudon family has been farming and making wine in Chitry for centuries. Right on the border of Chablis, this ancient, fortified town used to form the border between Champagne and Burgundy.
Marcel Giraudon, the wine-maker, follows very traditional methods in his work; keeping low yields and harvesting by hand. His kids, the young sister/broth team of Aurelie and Thibaut, have begun taking over the estate and look forward to standing on the shoulders of giants!
